Café Mocha with De Villiers Chocolate (Vegan)

Do you love hot chocolate?

And do you love coffee too?

Me too!

Thank goodness someone thought of combining the two to make an amazing drink called a Café Mocha or Mochaccino. And although De Villiers Chocolates has a lovely Drinking Chocolate (purchase it here and use the code: MELISSA LAINN at checkout for a 15% discount) I wanted to make a Café Mocha with my favorite De Villiers Chocolate rage - the sugar-free, dairy-free nut butter chocolate range.

This is a deliciously easy recipe that will make you enjoy the beautiful combination that is chocolate and coffee. Try it out and let me know which of their flavors you enjoyed the most in your Café Mocha.

MLW Café Mocha:

Ingredients:

1 silicone tray

2 tablespoons of coconut cream

1 espresso or 1/2 a cup of coffee of your choice

1/4 cup of unsweetened almond/coconut milk (frothed)

optional - sweetener like maple syrup or stevia

Method

For the Chocolate -

Melt the De Villiers Chocolate bar in a double boiler an add the coconut cream. Stir until smooth and add to a silicone tray. Cool in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours.

For the Café Mocha -

Remove the tray of chocolates for the fridge and add 4 to 6 to your cup or mug. Prepare your coffee and pour onto the chocolate in you cup. Top it off with your frothed almond or coconut milk and stir well until it's all combined. Enjoy as is or add a little sweetener of your choice. Enjoy!
